North Korean designer jeans find no place in a Stockholm department store due to its political status. Noko Store spokesman Rene Stephansen calls it an isolated communist nation and prefers to keep the designer jeans at bay citing political issues.
The designer jeans under the brand name of The Noko Jeans line is the creation of three Swedish entrepreneurs who hoped ease North Korea's isolation with the West through increased trade.
Reports say that the designer jeans were taken off the shelves on Saturday. Jacob Astrom, Noko Jeans's spokesperson regrets the decision and is hunting for a new location where the designer jeans can be made available to the potential customers.
For the time being, the North Korean designer jeans are available online.
