Kardashian Sisters Accused Of Copying Their Handbag Designs
August 24, 2011 | In: News

The Kardashian sisters have been accused of copying one of the handbag designs in their debut collection of handbags that was launched through sears.com. Initially the response was very good but after this controversy, the Kardarshian sisters are hitting headlines for all the wrong reasons.
The handbag design seems to be a replica of Clyde design handbag worth $600 designed by Monica Botkier. She has sent sears a letter demanding that they cease the sale of $94 leopard print handbag claiming it to be copied from her designer handbag.
Since 2003, Monica states that Clyde handbag has been a masterpiece of her collection, and its shape is trademarked. The handbag designed by Kardishains has been removed from sale, although no official action has been taken or a statement is released by sears or Kardashians.
