Christian Dior to Consider Marc Jacobs

American designer Marc Jacobs is rumoured to succeed John Galliano at Christian Dior
The other contenders for the deserving position at Christian Dior include Lanvin's Alber Elbaz, Balenciaga's Nicolas Ghesquière, Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton, Haider Ackermann and Hedi Slimane,
Christian Dior reportedly has also shown interest in Givenchy designer Ricardo Tisc. Elbaz, Ghesquière and Burton choose to stay out of the race for Christian Dior top post whereas Ackerman and Slimane talk of not having received any such offer by Christian Dior officials.
The designer and the Dior management are very excited at the developments taking place in Paris where Jacobs's legal team is working out a deal with the Christian Dior executives. Meanwhile Jacobs is showcasing his spring 2012 collection in New York.
