An Unusual Couture Show by Christian Dior

At the current ongoing Couture at Paris, Christian Dior emerged as the first fashion giant to offer an entire haute couture collection that to without a named couturier. The collection was present without a couturier because Christian Dior sacked its renowned British designer John Galliano. However John Galliano was replaced by Bill Gaytten and Susanna Venegas who headed the design team at Christian Dior.
John Galliano has been the designer of the couture collection since past 15 years, but he couldn't make it this time as he was sacked on the basis of the allegations of racial and anti-Semitic abuse. The entire haute couture collection by Christian Dior consisted of 36 outfits designed by various designers. Designs were inspired by the gauntlet from 1950' silhouettes and west coast hostesses' form 1970's.
The sales of Christian Dior outfits have not suffered due to the John Galliano Scandal and Couture customers still prefer made to measure designs.
